PostSubject: Meeting with MRI   Mon May 25, 2009 5:34 pm

I have ben phoned today by MRI and "invited" to a meeting on the 1st June in Bristol to discuss with them the situation with TDS. My guess is that they will try to get me to 'swop' to one of their own projects. Is there anyone one else going to meet with them in Bristol? Apparently, all the top MRI brass will be there. the woman on the phone didn't know anything and couldn't even tell me what it was about. Are there any questions to put to them when i see them?

My two cents worth. I would say MRI are only using this as a scam to make more money under the guise of trying to help you. Basically, good advice is to be cynical about everything they tell you and dont beleive a word of it until you know for sure otherwise. I can guarantee that they will try to swap you into some of their usual over priced garbage under the guise of trying to help you.

If you check recent posts on this forum, someone has posted that they already been to one of these meetings where mri tried to swap them into another development, and when they carried out research and contacted the developer directly they found that it was a complete con and that they could purchase the same property directly from the developer for approx $60,000 less than MRI were selling it for!!! i.e read into that MRI will be adding about 15% to 20% on the price to pay their own commission. Buyer beware! Make sure you dont jump from the frying pan into the fire is my advice.

PostSubject: MRI - MOSTLY RETARDS INVOLVED   Mon May 25, 2009 8:42 pm

Well said Melwil!

Everyone should click on the three webposts below. They take you to the very informative "Investment Property Rumours" which talks in detail about "THE GREAT BAIT AND SWITCH".

MRI (Many Raving Imbeciles) a.k.a. DCC (Dopey Clowns Calling) Property are using this same meeting strategy with other developments they have sold.

Whatever price these idiots offer you, check that resales or similar resales in the development or nearby developments aren't cheaper.

I have just read those reports. Scam written all over it. Very convenient for MRI to fuel rumours that developers are entering into banruptcy when they are not, then sell try to sell their own overpriced crap.

Check this too, someone in another development in our situation, lost even more money by taking up MRI's offer!
